AI LLM Solutions Architect

DVT is a leading software engineering company in Africa, known for its innovative solutions in various sectors, including mining and finance. The company is seeking a senior Solutions Architect to join their cloud practice, specifically to work with a large mining group in Gauteng. This role is strategic and focuses on designing application and cloud architecture, rather than engineering or DevOps tasks.

In this position, you will lead solution design activities, translating business requirements into scalable technical architectures. You will be responsible for deploying DVT's Cloud Contour framework, an AI-driven advisory platform that helps clients optimize costs and maintain cloud health. Your ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders will be crucial, as you will need to present findings and recommendations clearly.

The ideal candidate will have 7 to 12 years of experience in Solution or Enterprise Architecture, with a strong focus on application integration and cloud-native design. Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++, along with experience in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, is essential. You should also have a solid understanding of machine learning and deep learning algorithms, as well as experience in leading design activities across complex integration landscapes.
