Who's behind this?
Hey, I'm Jess.
A social worker and software dev running an AI ops and strategy consultancy. Currently spending way too much time thinking about tech careers, youth unemployment and the future of work.
I've spent the last few years as Head of Operations working in tech education, helping tech grads get hired, and working on building products that heavily utilize AI tooling.
And things are getting weird. The hiring landscape is changing, the nature of our jobs are shifting, and the future is full of opportunity but it's also collapsing right in front our eyes.
So I started this newsletter to share jobs, resources and as a place to share my thoughts on what it feels like to be a human working with machines.
