IT Plant Support Engineer

As an IT Plant Support Engineer at Disruptive IT, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the IT infrastructure that supports our manufacturing operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing first and second-line technical support for plant-based IT systems, ensuring that users and equipment are functioning optimally. You will also be tasked with installing, configuring, and troubleshooting various devices, including desktops, laptops, and printers, as well as supporting the plant's network infrastructure.

In addition to user support, you will monitor and maintain servers, storage systems, and virtualization platforms. You will also assist with the administration of Microsoft 365, manage incidents and service requests, and ensure compliance with IT policies and cybersecurity standards. Your ability to work independently and under pressure will be essential, as you may need to participate in after-hours support and planned maintenance activities.

This role is ideal for someone with at least three years of experience in IT support or systems administration, particularly in a manufacturing or plant environment. A diploma or degree in Information Technology or a related field is required. Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities are key competencies that will help you succeed in this position.
