As a Junior to Mid IT Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that clients receive timely and effective technical assistance. Your day-to-day tasks will involve both on-site and remote support, troubleshooting various hardware and software issues, and maintaining network infrastructure. This position is ideal for someone who is tech-savvy and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for: • Providing on-site and remote technical support to clients. • Troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues. • Assisting with Microsoft 365 user support and administration. • Installing and configuring desktops, laptops, printers, and networking equipment. • Supporting network infrastructure, including routers and switches. • Maintaining accurate ticket notes and documentation. • Assisting senior technicians with projects and upgrades.
To succeed in this position, you should have a basic understanding of Windows operating systems and familiarity with Microsoft 365. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with clients regularly. While a relevant IT qualification is preferred, it is not mandatory. A valid South African driver’s license is required, and immediate availability is a plus.
