Tecnotree is looking for a skilled QA Engineer to join their team in Johannesburg. This role is focused on ensuring the quality of Business Support Systems (BSS) applications in the telecom sector. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in testing and a strong understanding of BSS functionalities such as CRM, Billing, and Order Management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the products meet high standards of quality before release.
In this role, your day-to-day responsibilities will include executing functional, regression, and integration tests. You will create, review, and maintain test cases and scenarios, as well as document and track defects. Participating in release cycles is crucial to ensure that all deliverables are of high quality. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be key in identifying issues and ensuring they are addressed promptly.
This position is best suited for someone with 3 to 6 years of experience in QA testing, particularly in the telecom industry. Familiarity with test management and defect-tracking tools is essential.
