Inspired Thinking Group is looking for a skilled Manual Tester to join their Development Team for a six-month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of web applications by conducting thorough testing across various platforms. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will help identify potential issues early, ensuring that the software meets high standards of functionality and performance.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include creating and maintaining test documentation, managing defects, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues. You will also participate in defect triage meetings to prioritize issues based on their impact. Additionally, you will track testing progress in line with release schedules and provide estimates for manual testing efforts to support project planning.
This role is ideal for someone with at least two years of experience in Manual QA, particularly in testing web-based applications. A strong familiarity with bug tracking tools and the ability to create comprehensive test documentation are essential. While a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is preferred, your primary focus will be on ensuring a seamless user experience through thorough testing.
