Installation & Support Technician - Lesaka (Fintech)

Lesaka Technologies is expanding its Installation & Support team within the Merchant Division, specifically in the hospitality sector. The Installation & Support Technician will be responsible for installing and configuring Point of Sale (POS) systems at client sites, ensuring that all installations meet quality and compliance standards. This role involves not only technical installations but also providing training to client staff to ensure they are confident in using the systems before the handover process.

On a day-to-day basis, the technician will manage go-lives, which may require after-hours support and coordination with the regional technical team. The role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently, as the technician will often be in the field addressing client needs. Strong communication skills are essential, as the technician will need to explain technical concepts clearly to clients and collaborate effectively with team members.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in IT support, with at least 3-5 years of experience in the field. An IT qualification, particularly A+ and N+, is highly recommended. Candidates should be comfortable working under pressure and willing to travel across the Free State and surrounding areas.
