CCG Systems specializes in implementing and supporting ERP and Payroll & HR systems, primarily for municipalities across South Africa. They are looking for a Financial Data Analyst to ensure the integrity and compliance of financial information within their consulting team. This role is based at their Head Office in East London and involves working closely with various financial systems and reporting structures.
As a Financial Data Analyst, your daily responsibilities will include performing reconciliations between the General Ledger, debtors, and billing systems. You will investigate discrepancies, prepare audit-ready reconciliation schedules, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Additionally, you will support audit processes, resolve queries, and assist with the integration of financial data into reporting tools.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field, along with a valid driver’s license and own transport. You should be comfortable analyzing financial trends, preparing annual financial statements, and developing dashboards and financial models. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data integrity are essential for success in this role.
