Lesaka Technologies is expanding its Installation & Support team within the Merchant Division, specifically in the hospitality sector. The Installation & Support Technician will be responsible for installing and configuring Point of Sale (POS) systems at client locations, ensuring that all installations meet quality and compliance standards. This role involves a mix of technical work and customer interaction, making it ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments.
On a daily basis, you will handle POS installations, manage go-lives, and provide technical support during business hours. You will also be responsible for training client staff on the systems to ensure they are confident and operational before the handover. Your role will require you to collaborate with the regional technical team and take ownership of your assigned installations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical support background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to solve problems independently. You should be comfortable working irregular hours and be willing to travel across the Eastern Cape. A reliable vehicle is essential for this role, as you will be visiting various client sites.
