Lesaka Technologies is expanding its Installation & Support team within the Merchant Division, specifically for the hospitality sector. The Installation & Support Technician will be responsible for installing and configuring Point of Sale (POS) systems at client locations across George and the surrounding Garden Route. This role requires a hands-on approach, as you will manage installations from start to finish, ensuring that all setups meet quality and compliance standards.
In your day-to-day work, you will provide technical support during business hours and be part of an after-hours standby roster. You will also train client staff on the POS and Back Office systems, ensuring they are fully operational before handing over the systems. Your ability to solve problems in real-time and provide excellent customer service will be crucial in this role.
The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working independently. You should have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude towards problem-solving. A willingness to travel and work irregular hours is essential, as you will be supporting clients during critical periods.
