Datafin is looking for an Intermediate Data Engineer to join their team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for developing robust data pipelines that are essential for business intelligence and advanced analytics. Your work will directly support machine learning initiatives and other AI-driven projects, making a significant impact on the company's data strategy.
On a day-to-day basis, you will design, implement, and maintain ETL processes to ensure data is accurately collected and processed. You will also work with SQL and GCP to manage data storage and retrieval efficiently. Additionally, you may act as a backup for the BI Developer, providing support when needed.
This position suits someone with at least three years of experience in data engineering, particularly with GCP and SQL.
