We are looking for a skilled and detail\-oriented Test Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for testing, diagnosing, repairing, and reporting faults on electronic products within a manufacturing environment. You will perform acceptance testing at various production stages, conduct component\-level troubleshooting and repairs, and ensure products meet the highest quality and performance standards. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working hands\-on with electronic equipment, interpreting technical documentation, and contributing to the delivery of high\-quality products. **Qualification \& experience** **Minimum requirements** * Minimum T3, N6, or S4 Electronic Engineering qualification; Preferably Diploma in Electronic Engineering. * Minimum 3 years' experience in a manufacturing production test environment. * Understanding of Computer\-Based and Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) testing will be advantageous. * Proven experience in Radio Frequency (RF) measurements (essential). * Experience in component\-level fault finding and repair within an electronics environment. * Working knowledge of analogue and digital electronic circuits and test equipment. * IPC certification will be advantageous. * Military electronics environment experience will be advantageous. **Key technical skills** The successful candidate should possess: * Natural aptitude for hands\-on technical work. * Ability to read and interpret: * + Electronic circuit diagrams and schematics. + Technical, wiring, and manufacturing drawings. * Intermediate computer literacy. * Product assembly knowledge or willingness to be trained. * Understanding of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) safety requirements. * Ability to operate and maintain electronic test equipment and associated software. * Functional knowledge of Surface Mount Technology (SMT) components. * Strong diagnostic and analytical problem\-solving skills. * High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. **Key responsibilities** **1\.
