Integrated Scenario Analyst

In the role of Integrated Scenario Analyst at FirstRand, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing the Group's integrated scenario analysis capability. Your work will involve applying risk, finance, and quantitative expertise to analyze complex data and create quantitative models that support strategic decision-making and capital planning. You will collaborate with various stakeholders across the banking, insurance, and investment sectors to enhance the Group's analytical capabilities.

Your daily responsibilities will include understanding and applying scenario formulation techniques to assess the impact of various economic and operational scenarios on the Group's performance. You will lead research into scenario design and risk drivers, ensuring that your methodologies are robust and aligned with industry best practices. Additionally, you will be responsible for data preparation, validation, and analysis to ensure the accuracy of inputs used in scenario modelling.

You will also design and maintain dashboards to effectively communicate scenario results and insights to senior stakeholders. This role requires you to prepare high-quality presentations and summaries, ensuring that the outputs are conceptually sound and useful for decision-making. As you monitor and adapt scenarios in response to changing conditions, your ability to collaborate with different teams will be crucial for ensuring alignment across the Group.
