Datacentrix is seeking a Senior Network Engineer Level 3 to join their team in Isando. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between engineering and architecture, ensuring that the enterprise network is resilient, compliant, and ready for future challenges. You'll be responsible for providing expert-level support across various aspects of network management, including stability, optimisation, and strategic modernisation.
In your day-to-day work, you will focus on three main areas: RUN, GROW, and TRANSFORM. This includes ensuring the stability and resilience of the network estate, optimising and automating processes, and leading initiatives for network modernisation, including software-defined networking (SDN) and hybrid connectivity. Your expertise will be crucial in integrating networks with cloud environments, ensuring seamless operation across WAN, LAN, WLAN, and VPN.
This role is best suited for experienced network engineers who are looking to take the next step in their career. You should have a strong background in enterprise-level networking and a desire to evolve into a strategic design authority. Familiarity with cloud networking certifications, such as AWS Advanced Networking and Azure Network Engineer Expert, will be advantageous but not mandatory.
