Datacentrix is seeking a Senior Network Engineer Level 3 to join their team in Isando. In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between engineering and architecture, ensuring that the enterprise network is resilient, compliant, and ready for future challenges. Your expertise will be vital in supporting the stability and resilience of the network estate, as well as in optimizing and modernizing network strategies.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include providing expert-level support across various areas: RUN, which focuses on maintaining network stability; GROW, which involves advanced optimization and automation; and TRANSFORM, where you will engage in strategic network modernization and cloud connectivity programs. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to take on significant responsibilities and aims to progress into a Network Architect position.
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in network engineering and a solid understanding of enterprise networking principles. A Matric certificate along with an NQF Level 7 qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Network Engineering is required. Additionally, having cloud networking certifications such as AWS Advanced Networking or Azure Network Engineer Expert, as well as cybersecurity certifications like CISSP or CCSP, will be advantageous.
