This role focuses on testing online platforms, ensuring that they meet the defined business requirements. You will work closely with the software development and QA teams, executing test scenarios and documenting results to support informed decision-making. Your ability to communicate effectively and build relationships will be key to your success in this position.
In your day-to-day work, you will be responsible for executing user acceptance tests (UAT) based on previously defined requirements. This includes collating and reporting test results, identifying issues, and providing recommendations to the UAT Manager. You will also review functional specifications to determine necessary testing conditions, ensuring that the online retail platforms function smoothly and meet user expectations.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A good understanding of the online retail environment is essential, along with proficiency in MS Office. Experience with SQL databases and any IT or business analysis qualifications will be advantageous but are not mandatory.
