As part of the IT Infrastructure team in South Africa, the Azure Infrastructure Engineer will be instrumental in supporting and enhancing the Microsoft Azure environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for the administration and optimization of Azure services. Your day-to-day tasks will include resolving technical issues, implementing changes, and deploying new cloud services. You'll work closely with the Head of Infrastructure to ensure that best practices are followed and that the Azure environment remains secure and compliant with organizational standards.
Key responsibilities include: • Providing advanced support for Azure, addressing complex incidents across various services. • Designing and implementing secure, scalable Azure-based solutions. • Managing backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure business continuity. • Administering identity and access management within Entra ID. • Supporting cost management and performance optimization processes.
This role is well-suited for someone with hands-on Azure experience and strong troubleshooting skills.
