Decision Inc is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to enhance their Data, Information, and Analytics team in Johannesburg. In this role, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions that support business intelligence and analytics initiatives. Your expertise in data engineering will help the company leverage data to make informed decisions and drive growth.
As a Senior Data Engineer, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: • Developing and maintaining data pipelines and architectures • Working with data lakehouse technologies and SAP Datasphere • Collaborating with data analysts and other stakeholders to understand data needs • Ensuring data quality and integrity across systems
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in data engineering and a passion for working with data. You should have experience with Python and familiarity with data lakehouse concepts. While Microsoft certifications and experience with Power BI are advantageous, they are not mandatory.
