Infrastructure Monitoring Engineer

Zenzero Solutions is looking for an Infrastructure Monitoring Engineer to join their team in Century City. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the core infrastructure of customer environments. Your primary focus will be on monitoring alerts, validating issues, and escalating them as necessary to ensure timely resolutions that meet service level agreements (SLAs). This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and effective communication skills to collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.

Your daily tasks will include monitoring backup alerts, storage alerts, and hardware issues across both physical and virtual environments. You will work with various backup solutions, including Acronis, Veeam, and Datto, and be involved in backup-related projects from pre-sales to implementation and disaster recovery testing. Additionally, you will need to review and update documentation as needed and ensure that all tickets are accurately populated with notes of your work.

This role is ideal for someone with a solid understanding of virtualisation technologies such as HYPERV, Azure, and VMWare, as well as experience with ITSM tools like the Connectwise Product stack. The ability to prioritize workloads and make judgements on escalation needs is crucial.
