They are currently seeking a Senior Web Developer to assist with a significant project involving the migration and redevelopment of a website. This role will require a blend of technical skills and project management to ensure a smooth transition to the new platform.
In this position, you will be responsible for migrating an existing website to a new platform, configuring hosting and DNS settings, and developing and redesigning the website. You will also integrate a content management system (CMS) such as SharePoint or Power Pages, implement security measures like SSL, and optimize the website for performance. Testing across various browsers and devices will be essential to ensure a seamless user experience.
The ideal candidate will have a National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or a related field, along with at least two years of experience in website development. Experience with website migration projects and strong skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are crucial. Familiarity with CMS platforms and knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem will be advantageous.
