As a Project Manager Services at Sidel, you will be the local technical lead responsible for managing and executing various nonstandard service projects. Your role will involve understanding customer requests, coordinating with different product divisions, and ensuring that all project activities align with customer needs. You will support the sales team in proposals and presentations, aiming to maximize customer satisfaction while delivering tailored solutions.
In your day-to-day work, you will register projects in SAP, initiate them with customers, and set schedules to ensure all parties are aligned. You will evaluate technical feasibility and risks, coordinate with business units for part delivery, and monitor the project's quality, cost, and timeline. Your ability to manage crises and report on project progress will be crucial to maintaining project momentum.
Installation planning will also be a key part of your responsibilities. You will arrange the necessary resources and skills for installations, coordinate logistics, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards. After project completion, you will conduct root cause analyses to learn from any issues and ensure customer satisfaction through surveys and follow-ups.
This role is ideal for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and at least three years of project management experience. Strong communication skills and the ability to solve problems effectively are essential. Familiarity with packaging and Sidel equipment will be advantageous, as will proficiency in project management tools like MS Office and SAP.
