Herotel is looking for a Business Analyst to join their Commercial team in Stellenbosch or Plattekloof. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining commercial reports and dashboards that are crucial for the business's decision-making processes. You will also ensure the accuracy of the commercial data set and run data quality checks to maintain the integrity of the information used by leadership.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include producing commercial forecasts, applying attribution rules, and eliminating double-counting in reports. You will work closely with function heads to turn data inquiries into clear analyses that support strategic decisions. Additionally, you will be tasked with mapping and improving commercial processes, as well as managing commission calculations to ensure they are accurate and auditable.
To succeed in this role, you should have a relevant tertiary qualification in data, analytics, or a related field, along with 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably within the telecommunications or subscription sectors.
