PBT Group is looking for an experienced Automation Engineer to join their team in Cape Town on a 6-month contract. This role is situated within the insurance and financial services sector, requiring a technically adept engineer who can develop and maintain automation frameworks using Java and Playwright. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the test automation strategy and enhance the efficiency of testing processes.
In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks. Your responsibilities will include writing and executing end-to-end automation test scripts, applying object-oriented programming principles, and collaborating with development and QA teams to define automation strategies.
