Duties/Pligte * Overseeing and managing the design and implementation of an adaptive global student learning programme in alignment with the global learning outcomes. This includes the framing of international student programming (for example, short programmes, summer schools, global education programmes, etc.) with the global learning outcomes.* Overseeing and managing the Globally Networked Learning Hub, and hereby expanding international online programming, which would include teaching methodologies/approaches such as COIL and Virtual Exchange.* Broadening the impact of comprehensive internationalisation, through the implementation of various internationalisation\-at\-home initiatives and co\-curricular programmes. * Overseeing student life and success activities, which focus on and coordinate student integration and well\-being initiatives for international and South African students, following a global learning approach. This includes activities related to the welcoming and orientation programme, Matie Buddy Programme, the International Student Organisation (ISOS) and AMANI.* Directing responsible community engagement and interaction activities, which include the Voluntary Community Engagement and Global Service\-Learning programmes. * Developing a refugee and displaced student pathway hub at SU International. * Presenting workshops and delivering lectures on global learning, intercultural competence, student integration, and other applicable themes when necessary. This includes designing and delivering various tailored lecture series to incoming programmes in collaboration with the international faculty.* Taking lead on implementing the global learning outcomes into the existing Global Education Programme portfolio, as well as working closely with the Administrator: Global Education Programmes to expand the portfolio where appropriate, and creating and implementing feedback loops to maintain academic quality.* Responsible for the EUTOPIA Working Group on Internationalisation at Home which includes designing and delivering the Eutopia Certificate for Internationalisation (EUCI) at least three times per year.* Managing, providing support and guidance to the Senior Coordinator: Global Experiential Learning, the Administrator: Student Life and Success, and the Administrator: Global Education Programmes.* Providing support to the Programme Manager: Staff Internationalisation with the framing of Staff Internationalisation initiatives with Global Learning Outcomes. * Responsible for human resource matters pertaining to the team members of the Unit for Global Learning (staff members and student interns) who report to the Senior Programme Manager: Unit for Global Learning.
