Africonology Solutions is looking for a skilled Azure Cloud Engineer to join their team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. Your work will support the company's digital transformation and modernization efforts, ensuring that cloud environments are secure, reliable, and cost-effective.
Your daily tasks will involve collaborating with Infrastructure and Security teams to implement cloud governance and security best practices. You will also support CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployment processes, ensuring compliance with operational and governance standards. Additionally, you will contribute to cloud architecture decisions and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
This position is ideal for someone with at least three years of experience in cloud engineering, particularly with Microsoft Azure. You should have a strong understanding of cloud architecture, CI/CD processes, and security best practices. A Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert certification is a plus, but not mandatory.
