As the Information Systems Lead at Syntech, you will take charge of the company's IS function, which is critical for its operations. This role is hands-on, meaning you'll directly manage key systems related to automation, ERP integration, and business intelligence. You will start as the sole practitioner, which gives you the unique opportunity to shape the function from the ground up and eventually lead a team as it grows.
Your daily responsibilities will include managing the Fortra Automate estate, ensuring the smooth operation of business-critical workflows, and overseeing the integration architecture for the ERP system. You will also be responsible for debugging and extending workflows, maintaining documentation, and making strategic decisions about the IS function's direction. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills, as you will need to assess current capabilities and design a team structure that meets the business's needs.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in RPA, SQL Server, and ERP integration, along with the ability to lead a small technical team. You should be comfortable taking direction from executive management and translating that into actionable technical tasks. Familiarity with BI tools and front-end web skills will also be beneficial.
