Gijima Holdings is seeking a skilled Network Security Specialist to enhance our enterprise security team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and troubleshooting our security infrastructure. This includes working with next-generation firewalls, web application firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and network detection and response platforms. Your expertise will help us transition to a perimeter-less security model, ensuring that we remain resilient against evolving threats.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve developing and implementing comprehensive security plans and policies. You will also strategize responses to security breaches and work on tools that aid in the detection, prevention, and analysis of security threats. Investigating security incidents will be a key part of your role, allowing you to apply your knowledge and experience to real-world challenges.
This position is ideal for someone with at least five years of experience in technical information security, particularly in network-based security. You should be comfortable with the latest security technologies and have a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks. While certifications in tools like Tufin, Firemon, Skybox, or Algosec are beneficial, they are not mandatory. Your ability to mentor others and communicate effectively will also be crucial in this collaborative environment.
