A Divisonal Manager: Retail is an individual who is responsible for the overall functioning of multiple retail stores and the distribution centre, someone who takes care of the day to day operations and ensures maximum profitability. Henwil Chickens reserves the right not to fill the position. ### **Minimum Requirements** * Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate is required. * Valid driver's license. * Business Management qualification or relevant qualification will be advantageous. * Minimum of 5 years' experience at a mnagerial level within a retail environment is required. * Experience managing multiple stores would be beneficial. * Experience with IQ Retail software will be advantageous. * Computer literacy and competent with the Microsoft Office Suite * Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills. * Analytical and strategic thinking skills. * Problem\-solving and decision\-making ability. * Accurate working ability including numerical calculations. * Characteristics such as intergrity, honesty and reliability. * Perform under presure, plan personal workload effectively and delegate. ### **Duties and Responsibilities** * Perform regular visits to retail stores, distribution centre and various outlets. * Ensure all operations within the retail division is conducted in accordance with the company's policies and procedures. * Manage business activities within the retail division, including the retail stores, distribution centre and various outlets to achieve gaols and operational targets. * Manage and control the budgets within the retail division. * Identify areas for development within the retail division and implement action plans accordingly. * Partner with the Sales and Marketing division to support, validate and strategize marketing initiatives and events. * Initiate and participate in strategic initiatives and possible new business ventures. * Build constructive and effective relationships with multiple departments, personnel and other stakeholders. * manage and oversee team members to be customer orientated, effective, productive and knowledgeable. * Chair the monthly management meetings.
