Network IT is looking for a mid-level QA Engineer to join their team in Johannesburg South. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through both manual and automated testing. You'll work independently, which means you should be comfortable taking initiative and managing your own workload.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include designing, writing, and executing comprehensive test cases. You will develop and maintain automated tests for .NET APIs and Angular applications, ensuring that all aspects of the software are thoroughly tested. This includes performing integration, regression, and performance testing, as well as validating authentication and authorization flows.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of both manual and automated testing processes. Familiarity with tools like RestSharp, xUnit/NUnit, and Postman/Newman for API testing, as well as Karma/Jasmine and Cypress or Playwright for Angular testing, will be beneficial. While coding knowledge is a bonus, it is not a strict requirement.
