PEP Africa is looking for a Business Analyst to join their Planning department in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the company's systems and processes align with industry standards and best practices. Your main goal will be to support existing business processes while proposing new developments based on business needs. This position requires a proactive approach to improving business efficiency and productivity.
Your daily tasks will include designing business processes, managing and implementing system changes, and providing training to users. You will also be involved in project management, where you will develop and monitor project plans, liaise with stakeholders, and manage resources and budgets. Staying updated on relevant regulations and compliance matters is crucial, as is documenting and maintaining standard operating procedures.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience as a systems or business analyst, preferably in the retail sector. A relevant tertiary qualification is required, along with advanced computer literacy and proven change management experience. Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools and merchandise processes will be advantageous. Strong communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.
