Nambiti Technologies is looking for a LAN Network Administrator to manage and maintain their network infrastructure. You'll be responsible for ensuring network performance, security, and providing user support.

We are recruiting for a LAN Network Administrator role. **Key Responsibilities** ------------------------ * **Network Management** + Install, configure, and maintain LAN hardware (switches, routers, firewalls, cabling). + Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues. + Manage IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, and VLAN configurations. * **Security \& Compliance** + Implement and maintain network security protocols, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems. + Ensure compliance with organizational IT policies and industry standards. + Regularly update and patch network devices to mitigate vulnerabilities. * **User Support** + Provide technical support for end\-users experiencing LAN\-related issues. + Maintain documentation of network configurations and troubleshooting procedures. + Train staff on best practices for network usage and security. * **Maintenance \& Monitoring** + Perform routine network health checks and capacity planning. + Monitor bandwidth usage and optimize network performance. + Maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures for network infrastructure. **Required Qualifications** --------------------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. * Professional certifications such as **CompTIA Network\+**, **Cisco CCNA**, or **Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator** (preferred). * Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Ethernet, and LAN protocols. **Skills \& Competencies** -------------------------- * Proficiency in configuring and managing switches, routers, and firewalls. * Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios). * Strong problem\-solving and analytical skills. * Excellent communication and documentation abilities. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. **Performance Indicators** -------------------------- * Minimal network downtime and disruptions. * Timely resolution of LAN\-related incidents. * Compliance with IT security standards. * Positive feedback from end\-users regarding support and reliability.
