This is not a typical internal IT role. It sits inside the Commercial team and is deliberately broad — spanning day\-to\-day IT, the integrity of our data and customer mapping across an integrated product stack, testing and rollout of our ERP and the IT products we sell, employee onboarding and offboarding, and a supporting hand in automation. It will suit someone who wants variety, exposure right across the business and room to grow, rather than a narrow support desk. The role is hands\-on and focused on getting things done well. **Duties and Responsibilities:** Employee Onboarding \& Offboarding * Set up and deactivate user accounts across Office 365, internal systems, partner portals and line\-of\-business applications. * Working with the People team, ensure onboarding plans are created, assigned, followed and completed. * Issue, record and track IT hardware including laptops, mobiles and peripherals. * Maintain accurate asset registers and access/audit documentation. Office 365 Administration * Administer the organisation’s Office 365 environment day to day, including: * User lifecycle management * Distribution lists * Shared mailboxes * Security groups and permission structures * Apply security and compliance controls in line with agreed standards. Day\-to\-Day Internal IT * Act as the first point of contact for internal IT requests and issues across the business. * Resolve routine support tasks; escalate technical work to the service desk and engineering teams as needed. * Keep internal accounts, access and devices in good order. Data Integrity \& System Mapping * Audit data accuracy and customer/client mapping across integrated systems — e.g. ERP (Engage / Odoo) → Autotask → IT Glue → Kaseya products. * Monitor integration behaviour and automated client creation; identify, flag and correct exceptions. * Work to the rules and standards set by the Commercial Manager / Director; raise anything that needs a decision rather than setting policy independently. * Help keep simple documentation of data flows and known exceptions up to date. Onboarding of New Product Stacks * Get involved when the business brings in new IT products — supporting setup, configuration and internal adoption. * Help ensure the organisation makes proper use of the tools it provides to customers. * Support product rollouts, feature enablement and version control under direction. ERP (Engage / Odoo) – Support and Testing * Learn Engage / Odoo to a working level (training and ramp\-up expected; prior ERP experience is a bonus, not a requirement). * Participate in testing cycles for development work — run test cases, log issues, validate fixes and support user acceptance testing. * Check that new or updated ERP processes carry through correctly to Autotask, IT Glue and Kaseya.
