As a Network Security Specialist at Gijima Holdings, you will be an integral part of our enterprise security team. Your main responsibility will be to design, implement, and troubleshoot our security infrastructure, which includes advanced firewalls, web application firewalls, and intrusion prevention systems. You will also contribute to our transition towards a perimeter-less security model, ensuring that our systems are robust against evolving threats.
Your day-to-day tasks will involve developing and implementing security plans and policies, as well as strategies to respond to and recover from security breaches. You will also be responsible for creating or implementing tools that assist in the detection, prevention, and analysis of security threats. Investigating any security breaches will be a key part of your role, allowing you to apply your expertise in real-world scenarios.
This position is well-suited for someone with at least five years of experience in technical information security, particularly in network-based security. A strong understanding of security infrastructure design and troubleshooting is essential. While certifications in tools like Tufin, Firemon, Skybox, or Algosec are not mandatory, they will certainly enhance your profile.
