Datacentrix is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join their team in the Eastern Suburbs of Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of AI solutions, from data exploration to model development and deployment. You will work closely with business stakeholders, developers, and data engineers to create AI-enabled solutions that meet the needs of the organization.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: • Exploring and preparing data for model training • Developing and testing machine learning models • Deploying models into production and monitoring their performance • Continuously improving models based on feedback and new data
To succeed in this role, you should have a relevant degree or diploma in fields such as Computer Science, Data Science, or Engineering. A minimum of three years of experience in AI/ML engineering or data science is essential. You should also have a solid understanding of data engineering concepts, including SQL and data pipelines, as well as experience working with both structured and unstructured data.
