As a Security Engineer at Cartrack, you'll be at the forefront of protecting our digital assets. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that all security platforms are effective and that our network and systems are secure. This includes designing and implementing new security systems, as well as upgrading and configuring existing ones to meet evolving threats.
In your day-to-day work, you'll manage and maintain security infrastructure, analyze new tools to mitigate vulnerabilities, and automate repetitive tasks. You'll also assist in evaluating security vendors and perform detailed technical reviews of new systems or architectures. Monitoring network usage to ensure compliance with security policies will be a critical part of your role.
This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in security platforms and network design. If you have experience with SIEM and PAM, that's a plus, but the key requirement is a solid understanding of security infrastructure and the ability to implement effective solutions.
