Parvana is looking for a mid-level QA Engineer to join their team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through rigorous testing processes. You'll work in an Agile/Scrum environment, collaborating closely with developers and product managers to identify and resolve issues before they reach the end user.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include planning and executing test cases, performing regression and user acceptance testing, and tracking defects. You will also be involved in API testing using tools like Postman and will contribute to the overall improvement of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
This role is well-suited for someone with 2-3 years of experience in software testing or QA. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have a strong understanding of Agile methodologies. Familiarity with education technology and databases is a plus, but not mandatory.
