Deka Minas is looking for a Purple Team Specialist to enhance their cybersecurity efforts. In this role, you will work closely with both offensive and defensive teams to identify vulnerabilities and improve overall security posture. Your day-to-day tasks will involve analyzing security alerts, conducting threat assessments, and providing actionable recommendations to strengthen defenses.
You will be responsible for: • Identifying detection gaps in the current security framework • Collaborating with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to improve alert fidelity • Conducting threat simulations to test and enhance security measures • Providing insights and strategies to mitigate risks and enhance response capabilities
This position is well-suited for someone with 3 to 7 years of experience in cybersecurity, particularly in roles such as SOC Analyst or Threat Analyst. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP is preferred, as is a strong understanding of threat detection methodologies. You should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment and be eager to collaborate with various teams to achieve security goals.
