HR Genie is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for automating and streamlining operations and processes, as well as building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations. You will work closely with software developers and IT staff to oversee code releases and manage infrastructure, ensuring that systems are reliable and scalable.
Your daily tasks will include implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure on AWS, and using Infrastructure as Code practices to automate deployments. You will also troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys problem-solving and is passionate about improving system performance and reliability.
To succeed in this role, you should have at least three years of experience in a DevOps or related position, with a strong understanding of AWS services and DevOps methodologies.
