People Dimension is looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join their team in Tyger Valley, Cape Town. In this role, you will design, build, and ship major features and microservices for their SaaS platform. You will work through the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring that the systems you create are scalable, secure, and reliable. Your expertise will help define service workflows and data contracts that facilitate smooth interactions between frontend and backend components.
On a day-to-day basis, you will lead design discussions and make critical decisions regarding trade-offs in reliability, security, cost, and delivery speed. Your responsibilities will include improving the operational health of the systems through enhancements in observability, resilience, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices. You will also be expected to follow and help improve software engineering standards within the team.
