In this role, you will work closely with AI Champions, ICT professionals, Data Scientists, and AI/ML Engineers to seamlessly integrate AI into operational workflows. Your expertise will be crucial in managing and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring that data is ingested, transformed, and modeled effectively.
As a Data Engineer, your responsibilities will include: • Implementing schema evolution and handling late-arriving data • Building and operating data lakes, warehouses, or lake houses • Establishing data cataloguing, lineage, and discovery processes • Conducting data testing and monitoring to ensure data quality • Setting SLAs/SLOs and managing incident responses for data pipelines
The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in Data Engineering or related fields, such as Software Engineering with a data focus or ETL Development. You should be comfortable with data ingestion and integration techniques, as well as data transformation and modeling practices. Familiarity with tools like Delta Lake, BigQuery, and data cataloging solutions will be beneficial.
