Senior Security Analyst (NH)

The Senior Security Analyst will be an integral part of a security team in Somerset West, focusing on protecting the organization's infrastructure and data. This role involves monitoring security events across various platforms, including cloud services and on-premises systems. You will investigate security alerts and incidents, ensuring that any threats are addressed promptly and effectively. Your expertise will help maintain and enhance the organization's security monitoring capabilities, particularly through the use of SIEM tools.

In this position, you will also develop and maintain security playbooks and response procedures, ensuring that the team is prepared for any potential security incidents. You will design and implement security controls across multiple environments, including Microsoft 365, Azure, and various server infrastructures. A key part of your role will be to implement security measures such as multi-factor authentication and data loss prevention strategies.

The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in security analysis or engineering, with a strong understanding of cloud security and best practices for Microsoft environments. You should be comfortable evaluating and implementing new security technologies and conducting security assessments.
