Sabenza IT is looking for a Senior BI Developer to join their team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for turning complex data into powerful business solutions that drive decision-making. You will work with various data sources and tools to create insightful reports and dashboards that meet the needs of the business.
Your day-to-day tasks will include developing and maintaining BI solutions using Power BI and DAX, as well as managing data warehousing processes. You will collaborate with other team members to ensure that data is accurately captured and transformed, and you will utilize Azure DevOps and Git for version control and project management.
This position is suited for someone who has a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, particularly the Kimball Star Schema, and is experienced in ETL processes. You should be comfortable working with REST APIs and various data formats like JSON and XML. Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate findings effectively are also essential.
