Data Monkey (PTY) LTD is looking for a skilled Data Engineer to enhance their enterprise data engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable data integration solutions using Ab Initio GDE and SQL. Your work will be crucial in delivering high-performance ETL solutions and maintaining reliable data platforms that support the company's operations.
On a daily basis, you will build data integration workflows that meet both business and operational needs. This includes configuring and maintaining the Metadata Hub to ensure effective metadata management and data lineage. You will also be tasked with developing and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures to enhance data processing efficiency.
This position is ideal for someone who can translate complex business and technical requirements into effective data engineering solutions. You will work closely with various teams to integrate data from multiple source systems into the enterprise data platforms, ensuring that the data is accurate and accessible.
