The L2 SOC Analyst position is a key role within an IT Managed Service Provider, located in either Cape Town or Gauteng. In this role, you will be responsible for providing level 2 support and handling escalations within the Security Operations Center (SOC). Your day-to-day activities will involve continuous monitoring of security systems, detecting and responding to security events, and ensuring the protection of both internal and client information assets.
You will also assist in delivering security services and products to clients, contributing to the overall improvement of the company's information security posture. This role requires a proactive approach to threat hunting and investigation, ensuring that the SOC operates efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with other team members to enhance the services provided to clients and drive compliance with security standards.
