Parvana is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for designing scalable data models that cater to both operational and analytical workloads. Your expertise will help build and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines, ensuring seamless data integration from various internal and external sources. This position requires a strong understanding of data architecture and the ability to optimize data access patterns for improved performance.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include mentoring junior team members on SQL optimization and best practices in data engineering. You will collaborate closely with Business Intelligence teams and analysts to support backend application data requirements and reporting needs.
