EQPlus Technologies is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join their team in Pretoria. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and optimizing data pipelines that ingest data from various source systems into Celonis. Your work will involve integrating data from ERP and CRM systems, as well as other databases and APIs, ensuring that the data is accurate and readily available for analysis.
On a day-to-day basis, you will work closely with other data professionals to design and implement ETL processes that enhance the efficiency of data flow into Celonis. You will also be expected to optimize existing pipelines and troubleshoot any issues that arise. This position requires a solid understanding of data engineering principles and experience with tools and technologies related to data ingestion and processing.
The ideal candidate for this role should have at least five years of experience in data engineering, with a strong focus on ETL processes and data integration. Familiarity with Celonis and relevant courses from the Celonis Academy will be beneficial. You should also have a good grasp of APIs and OData, as these will be crucial in your daily tasks.
