Data Monkey (PTY) LTD is looking for an Intermediate Data Scientist to join their team in Johannesburg. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing predictive models and generating actionable insights to solve complex business problems. You'll work closely with both business and technology stakeholders, ensuring that your data-driven solutions align with their needs and objectives.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include building and optimizing data pipelines for data preparation, feature engineering, and model training. You'll also perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) and statistical analysis to derive insights that can inform business decisions. It's essential to adhere to data governance, security, and compliance requirements while working on these projects.
This position is ideal for someone with 3 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Data Science or Machine Learning. Strong statistical, machine learning, and programming skills are a must.
