This role is with a company dedicated to developing and operating large-scale power generation and energy storage facilities across Africa. They are looking for a Data and ML Engineer to help drive their data initiatives under the guidance of the Data Engineering Manager. Your work will be crucial in ensuring the effective implementation of machine learning operations and data management practices.
In this position, you will be responsible for managing MLOps processes, which include data versioning, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD), drift monitoring, and setting up automated retraining pipelines. You will also build end-to-end data ingestion frameworks and develop data models and feature pipelines that support the company's machine learning use cases.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MLOps frameworks and deep learning libraries such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
