As an Infrastructure SysOps Engineer at Rewardsco, you will play a vital role in managing and optimising the company's IT infrastructure. Your main responsibilities will include ensuring the stability and performance of both on-premise and cloud environments that support critical business operations, such as contact centre systems and CRM platforms. This position requires a proactive approach to maintaining server, storage, and database systems to ensure they run smoothly and securely.
In your day-to-day work, you will support various technologies including Windows Server clusters, Linux systems, and Microsoft Azure infrastructure. You will also manage virtualisation through Hyper-V and oversee storage solutions using HPE SAN and MSA platforms. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions using Veeam Backup & Replication, ensuring that the company can recover quickly from any potential data loss.
This role is best suited for someone with at least five years of experience in infrastructure or systems operations. You should have a strong technical background and be comfortable working with a variety of systems and technologies. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to troubleshoot issues effectively, and possess a solid understanding of database administration.
