At Africonology Solutions, the Data Analyst will be integral to the migration of data from the Cashman legacy application to a new Learning Management System (LMS). This role involves designing, developing, and testing data reliability, as well as reconciling and analyzing data to ensure a smooth transition. You will also be responsible for documenting data lineage, which includes tracking where data originates and how it flows between systems.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include writing queries to compare data, producing a current-state data inventory, and designing Power BI dashboards. These dashboards will provide visibility into data volumes by source system, table, and date range, which is crucial for the migration program team. Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders is essential, as you will need to convey findings and raise any concerns regarding data quality or migration completeness.
This role is well-suited for someone with a strong analytical mindset and experience in data migration projects.
